Starlight Children’s Foundation (www.starlight-midatlantic.org) is an international non-profitorganization dedicated to improving the quality of life for seriously ill children and their families. Working with more than 650 hospitals worldwide, A leader in delivering distractive entertainment therapies, over 74,000 children benefit from Starlight’s programs each month. Starlight Children’s Foundation MidAtlantic is the newest Starlight chapter and serves the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. Our plans for the Starlight Kite Festival include, so far, boomerang demos, a juggling workshop, bubble machines, facepainting, stunt kite lessons, a kite making workshop, and lots of kite demos.
