Description:
The 19th Annual U.S. Air Force Museum Kite Festival is a two-day event. Activities include make-it, take-it workshops, demonstrations, displays and competitions for kite making, fighter kites, Rokkaku battles, windsprints and sport kite flying. Other highlights are a kietfliers only evening at the USAF Museum prior to the event.

Directions:
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is located six miles northeast of Dayton, Ohio. From I-70 take Exit 44A to I-675S, I-675S take Exit 15 and follow signs to the Museum. From I-75S, take Exit 61A to I-70E and follow above. From I-75N Take exit 43 to I-675N, take Exit 15 and follow signs to the Museum.
Comments:
Admission to the Museum is free. Modest competition fee and workshop fee.
