Description:
This is the first annual gathering of winter kite flyers on beatiful Lake Harriet, near downtown Minneapolis. This will be primarily a family event that will include single line flying, stunt kite demos, and kite sking. A heated tent will be provided as a warming house. Music to be provided by Mr. Kite, Craig Christensen. Come Join the Lake Hariet Farstead Associaton and the Minnesota Kite Society for a fun filled day on the ice.

Directions:
From I-35W in Minneapolis, exit at 46th Street and go west approximately 1 1/2 miles to the end of the street at East Lake Harriet Parkway. Turn right and go north approximately one mile around the east and north sides of Lake Harriet to the band shell on the northwest side of the lake. Turn into the parking lot. Kite flying will take place on the ice of Lake Harriet.
