[Coney Island] Professionals and amateurs will be flying one line, dual line, and quad line kites on the famous Coney Island Beach between Bay 10th and 10 west street. All ages are able to participate.

[Brooklyn] Professionals and amateurs will be flying one line, dual line, and quad line kites on the famous Coney Island Beach between Bay 10th and West 10th Street. All ages are welcome to participate.

[Ship Bottom] The 3rd LBI FLY International Kite Festival and Sport Kite Competition is a four day event. It begins Friday at the Ship Bottom location with a fun fly. Indoor kite demonstrations and workshop will be throughout the day for the children at the three local schools. An indoor kite competition and show will be held at the LBI School Friday evening. Saturday and Sunday will bring a sport kite competition, sport kite demonstrations including quad and dual line international teams, large kite displays, candy drops, bol racing, learn to fly, fighter kite demonstrations, buggy racing, and a mayor’s rokkaku battle. High Fliers Art and Craft show will be at Bayview Park both days. Visitors can shop local artists crafts, kids kite making by South Jersey Kite Flyers, kids activities, food vendors and local music. A wind garden will be installed by an international artist in Surf City throughout the weekend. Kids are encouraged to participate in the gardens creation and installation. Saturday evening will bring a kite flyers evening of entertainment and auction. A spectacular night fly will again be at our landmark lighthouse "Old Barney." Kiters will amaze spectators with lighted team sport kite flying, lighted inflatable and single line kites and lighted ground displays all to night fly music. Sunday evening awards dinner following night fly. Monday fun fly at the Ship Bottom beaches for all fliers who can stay for the day.
