[Kansas City] We are organizing free seminar for all kite enthusiasts. We’ll tell you how to make and fly kites. Our lecturers will show videos and by the end of the day kite made by your own hands will fly. All materials will be provided by Slotsdoc company.

[Kure Beach] This is a family friendly, free event held on the beach at Fort Fisher in Kure Beach NC. No competitions, just friends winding up the kiting season with large show kites and tiny ones too.

[San Antonio] Safehousegame company is organizing free workshop for all kite enthusiasts. At this workshop you will learn how to make and fly kites. You will not only listen to the lecturer but also will watch video and by the end of the day kite made by your own hands will fly. All materials will be provided by Safehousegame company.

[Chalmette] The 2nd annual Bayou Road Balloon Festival will be held on Veterans Day weekend, November 9-11, 2018. Located in the oaks of Sidney D. Torres Memorial Park in Chalmette, LA, the festival will feature multiple hot air balloons creating a spectacular “night glow” each evening along with tethered rides (weather & wind permitting). The stage and festival grounds will be packed with local and national musicians showcasing the vibrant communities of St. Bernard Parish. Carnival rides, midway games, food & beer booths, arts & crafts vendors, kite demos and art displays make this a can’t miss event!

[Treasure Island Fl] Veterans Day Kite Festival

[West Chester, Ohio 45069] Come join us for the monthly PIGS Aloft kite fly, usually followed by supper at the "club house" otherwise known as TGI Friday’s. We start at Noon and fly until either the weather gets us or 4:00

[Kill Devil Hills] Come spread the holiday cheer with Kitty Hawk Kites and the Jockey’s Ridge Crossing crew. Free visit and pictures with Santa, cocoa and cookies, and a light show with kites on Jockey’s Ridge are just a few of the fun and festive things going on… not to mention all the amazing holiday sales!
Share all your Christmas wishes and get your picture taken with Santa at Kitty Hawk Kites at Jockey’s Ridge Crossing in Nags Head on Friday, November 23 from 10am – 2pm and Saturday, November 24 from 1pm – 4pm. Have some fun with Santa’s elves and try out classic toys straight from the workshop! On Saturday, we’ll also have a bake sale with plenty of holiday treats to enjoy, with the proceeds benefitting Beach Food Pantry.
Be sure to make it out on Saturday, November 24 from 4pm – 7pm for a light display like none other. Kites with Lights, at Jockey’s Ridge State Park, will feature large 19-to-30 foot kites decked out in the spirit of the holiday season! At 5pm, enjoy the lighting of the Jockey’s Ridge State Park Solar Christmas tree out on the dunes directly across from Jockey’s Ridge Crossing.
Plus, we encourage you to make a donation to Toys for Tots at our Nags Head and Hatteras locations to help support local children in need this holiday season!
