[Marlton] Great fun fly held in conjunction with the township parks commision. Kids kitemaking of the tyek sled. sandwiches and refreshments available at extra cost.
Nice size field, plenty of room for everyone.

[Chubbuck] Bring a can or spare change for the FoodBank, and make a colorful pleated miniature kimono kite designed by Tom Tinney of Coeur d’Alene. Help out the FoodBank and have fun making and flying a kite!

[Santa Clara] Make a two level Miniature Facet kite with Susan Skinner. All materials and supplies will be provided to make a 4” miniature facet kite. This great little facet kite is made from bamboo spars with an origami tissue paper sail. This kite may be flown indoors using a flying rod or outdoors in smooth moderate winds. You will get to keep the templates, clamps and jigs so that you can make additional kites on your own. A clear display box to store your kite in is included as well as a flying rod. Tools will be provided but if you have a favorite pair of scissors, craft knife and/or cutting mat you may wish to have them with you. There will be a short lunch break, bringing a sack lunch is suggested

[Stewartstown] Community Family Fun Day at the Community Center in Stewartstown, PA. November 10th. Tentative times are from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Stewartstown is in York County, just a stone’s throw from the Maryland border off Route 83 - approximately 40 miles north of Baltimore.

The plan is for there to be music; diamond kites on sale at cost; loaner kites; and concessions, as well - hot dogs, fries, chips, sodas, and hot chocolate - where proceeds will benefit the Cub Scouts.
