[Ponca ] FREE Family fun fly along the Missouri river at Ponca State Park, Ponca Ne , 2nd annual event, plenty of camping. Bring your kites or purchase them from My Wind Stuff located on site, also displaying mega kites, stunt kite flying and lessons, parachute races for the kids approximately at 1pm each day. Many other events scattered across the park, All events weather permitted.

[Cleveland] Our monthly “Free Fly” where members get together to show off their latest kites or tell their latest stories of where they have been. We also are there to help anyone who has any problems with a kite they have with them.
Plug in “Edgewater Park” Cleveland, Ohio into your map program and follow the directions. We are at the lower park near the lake side of the park. Look for the banners.

[Oregon] This event is normally a 3 day event, but this year we will give way for a new event at the jewel of Detroit, Belle Isle.

[Detroit] Detroit’s first Kite Festival is coming July 16th, 2017!

Enjoy 2 days of kite flying, conveniently on the south side of town, across from the Sanford Clinic. Rollie Metz has been flying kites and entertaining crowds for over 25 years and this weekend we celebrate him and his kites! Rollie was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer and we are hoping this is not his last kite fly, we are hoping for many more!
Bring your kites, lawn chairs, coolers, and umbrellas and spend a day or two enjoying the beautiful kites from Rollie’s collection and others from the area.
Prairie Wind Kite Company will also be on site to assist with any kite or lawn spinner needs you may have.

[Dieppe] The ImaginAIR Festival is a gathering event for the whole family. There are shows, many outdoor activities and workshops focusing on the art of living. Guests are inspired by air and summer colors such as circus, kite, flying puppets and fireworks.

[Newport] Fun day to be with friend and family to help bring awareness to NAMI of RI (National Alliance on Mental Illness of RI) there is no cost associated with this event and we will be flying kites from 8am until 8pm
