[Livonia] The 4 Seasons Kite Club flies every Wednesday after work at Schoolcraft College from roughly 5:30 until weather, darkness, or hunger overtake us. The public is welcome to watch, chat, fly, enjoy, and join the club. We fly stunt kites, single line kites, fighter kites, and sometimes a buggy.

[Pincher Creek] 14th annual kite festival. 2 day event with lots of activitives such as Teddy bear drops, Rokakku fights, kite building, kite surfing demo’s, dual line demo’s, fireworks display, kite museum, bol races, special guests featuring Ray Bethell, Carl Bigras, Terry Thillmann.

[Bodega Bay] Come join us for an end of the week, beginning of the weekend kite fly. Bring your own kites or come out and demo ours. We have a large selection of kites for you to try, just ask and we will see what we can pull out of the bag for you

[Milwaukee] Fireworks Kite Festival July 3, 2005. KSWI in Conjuction with Gift of Wings, US Bank and Clear Channel Communications will sponsor our annual Fireworks Kite Festival. Featuring the Giant Kites of Yves LaForest. This is a fun fly and all are welcome to participate. Our goal is to fill the sky with as many kites as possible. Times from 11:00 am until 6:30 PM, then 7:30 PM until the fireworks start at 9:25 pm. We have set aside a huge area of Veterans Park just for kitefliers. So fly a kite and get the best seats in the house for the greatest firworks show on Earth. Well...in my opinion, of course. Now understand that traffic and parking are a real mess for this event, so come early and don't plan on leaving until after the fireworks are finished at 10:15pm. In other words, plan your whole day in the park. It’s a blast.

[Arvada] On behalf of the Foothills Kite Club, i have taken the initiative to fly on the second Sunday of each month, at Robbie Ferrufino park (where we had a successful festival, with Dave Gomberg and Don Murphy, our regional director, present that day of April 2nd. as well as officials from the city of Arvada) in anticipation of other kiters showing up to meet for a monthly fly.

[Columbus] A Kitefly for all types of kites and kiteflying in the Columbus Ohio Area. The Monthly fly is from 10 AM to 5 PM on the Second Sunday and Fourth Saturday of every month. These monthly flys are promoted and supervised by the Columbus Kiters

Lighted street parade, fireworks, bands, food and beverages, and family events.

[Brookings,] Free to the public. Fun family event. Always held on the third weekend in July. Transportation provided from Brookings Harbor Chamber of Commerce to the Kite Field. Large vendor fair, crafts and food. Saturday morning Sailboat Regatta.Kite performances commence at 10A.M. Kite banquet and auction Saturday evening .
Tickets available at the port office . Sunday morning Pancake Breakfast. Annual Kite T-shirts available at the Port tent during the festival. Information 541-469-2218.

[Davis] A fun fly event, Wind Fest is a two day celebration of kiting, held in the beautiful surroundings of Canaan Valley, WV! Wings Over Washington and Sky Jewels Kites will be performing demonstrations of sport kiting and large show kites, as well as conducting kite building classes for kids and giving lessons to those who would like to learn to fly. The event is free; there is a modest cost for the kite building class.

[Port Colborne, ON] 13th Annual Canal Days Kite Festival which features kite flying, kite events, demonstrations and a barbeque for all registered visiting kitefliers. Over 100 serious kitefliers attend regularly and approx. 9000 spectators are in attendance.
