[Port Colborne] The 8th Annual Canal Days Kite festival is a one day celebration of kiting, demonstrating single line and sport kite flying to the public as part of the City of Port Colborne’s annual marine heritage festival. Single and sport kite fields, vendors, reception for kiters and a supportive crowd of over 10,000 spectators are features of the event.

[Wright-Patterson AFB] The 18th Annual U.S. Air Force Museum is a three day event for kite enthusiasts and competitors. In addition to sport kite competition, other competitions for fighter kite, comprehensive, Rokkaku battle - individual and team and windsprints. Sled kite workshops are held both days. A kite exhibit and night fly on Friday round out the schedule.
