[Nags Head] The Rogallo Kite Festival is a 3-day event celebrating Mr. Rogallo and all of his contributions to the kite world. We will be flying from 10am - 4pm on the dunes of Jockey’s Ridge State Park with music, kite making, and games for the family at Jockey’s Ridge Crossing across the street.

[New Smyrna Beach] Get ready for a high-flying weekend of colorful fun at the New Smyrna Beach Kite Festival June 6-7, 2015 11am-3pm! Located directly on the beach, just south of Flagler Avenue, this event is sure to provide real "fun-in-the-sun" for the whole family! There will be professional kite demonstrations and free kite kits and decorating stations for the kids!
Adults and children are also encouraged to bring their own kites. Admission is free, but registration (on a walk-up basis, the day of the event) is required.
Kite Stop will be there with a tent to sell kites, and there will be a sectioned off area for doing kite demonstrations throughout the day.

[NEW HUDSON] A TWO DAY KITE FESTIVAL WITH DEMONSTRATIONS FROM LOCAL AND REGIONAL KITE FLYERS INCLUDING THE WINDJAMMERS, TEAM SKY BURNER, THE BLUES BROTHERS, SIMON CRAFT, DARYL WATERS, AND MANY OTHERS.

[Kenosha] The Tour De Kites Continues..... The 14th annual Q92 Continuous Country "Outta Sight Kite Flight" will be held on June 6th & June 7th, 2015, 10 am until 5 pm. This free event will be held in Kennedy Park on Kenosha’s beautiful lakefront. Sponsored by Q92, Continuous Country, 1400 WRJN, and Magnum Radio, The Kenosha News, the City of Kenosha, Gift of Wings, and The Kite Society of Wisconsin & Illinois. Featured performers include Chicago Fire Kite Team, Scott Weider, Jean Lemire, Josh and Zach Gordon, Paul Koepke, Fire & Ice, Dan Newman, EOS, O2, Something Old. Something New, Brett Williams as the Kite Whisperer, Mike Delfar, the Giant Kites of Yves Laforest, flown by Alex and the Canadian Dream Team, and the kites of Charlie Sotich, built and sponsored by the Kenosha News, Educators Credit Union and Habush, Habush, & Rottier. Special thanks to The Kite Society of Wisconsin and Illinois and Gift of Wings. For the first time ever, Scott Weider, Jean Lemire, and Paul Koepke will be flying indoor routines at St Mary’s grade school at 9 am and at 1 pm on Friday, June 5th.

[Minneapolis] June 6, 2015, SRL. Inc, out of Minneapolis, Kansas, is hosting its first ever family kite festival at the Minneapolis Fairgrounds. This will run from 11am until dark. Food concession provided by SRL Inc. All Breed Dog Rescue. My Wind Stuff will be on hand providing all the large aerial kites as well as selling kites for the first time pilots to the more advanced dual line and quad line kites. Parachute races will keep us entertained during the day as well as a candy drop for the kids. You are more than welcome to bring your own kites, sunscreen, and lawn chairs to enjoy the day. Minneapolis Kansas, is a small town just north of Salina, Kansas. Small community, so just look up as you arrive to town. 785-483-1309 for questions!

[Denver] A Mile Hi Kite Club /RMKA meets every Sunday at approx. 10AM and we keep flying kites until mid to late afternoon.

[Las Colinas] This event not only has great kites to see, but also Traditional Chinese Dragon Boat races. There are dozens of types of food and craft vendors and a huge demonstration stage for Asian dance, martial arts, etc...performances all day. Watch TKO Sport Kite Team perform, members of JOTS will also be in attendance. Gloria Harmon of Rainbows 4 Sail Kites will be present to sell kites, do face painting, etc....

[Jamestown] JAMESTOWN KITE FESTIVAL
The Jamestown Parks and Recreation Department and the “Wings on Strings” Kite Club are sponsoring the 21st annual kite festival on Friday, June 12th, to Sunday, June 14th, at Meidinger Park Field (10th ST. & 17th AVE. S.W.).

June 12 — 12pm–8pm Learn Kiting from the Pros
June 13 — 10:30am—4pm Kids Kite Building. Concessions, music, and door prizes. Inflatable Air Games by Victory Lutheran Church

Kite Fest has become a premier kiting event, attracting kite enthusiasts from across the country and Canada. The event is free and open to everyone. Events include fun contests for kids, kite making, demonstrations, door prizes, and music.

[Saint-Honore-de-Chicoutimi] Saint-Honore dans l’Vent is a fun festival and a great get together for all kite flyers!
Nestled a couple of hours north of Quebec City, in the Saguenay area, Saint-Honore is a small town in the suburbs of Chicoutimi. Every year, in June, we celebrate the arrival of summer with this beautiful kite festival. Kitefliers from all over Quebec, Ontario, the maritime provinces, and northern United States drive to the event to meet up with friends they may not have seen during the winter and fly kites together! Special guests also fly in from Western Canada, the States, Europe, and other parts of the world for this three day event and a lot of fun every year! In an all French environment, communication is never an issue and everyone gets along great in all languages!!
For the festival to take place, the local airport is partly closed for the weekend but part of it stays open so small airplanes fly by as kites decorate the sky... living well together with the supervision of our control tower.
Saint-Honore dans l’Vent is not the biggest event of all but it’s a fun festival where the wonderful kitefliers and volunteers taking part make it unique and unforgettable.

[Swift Current] The SaskPower Windscape Kite Festival is a free admission festival which invites everyone to witness and experience, as well as fly along with, some of the world’s superstar kite artists and performers in an open field southwest of Swift Current. Besides seeing kites larger than houses and beautiful kite routines to music, enjoy fighter, buggy, and stunt kite demonstrations; children’s activities including balloon sculpting, splatter mural, face painting, bubble station, mystery sand pile, and straw bale maze. Clean, wholesome fun for the whole family.

[Keene Valley] Fly a kite with Dad in the heart of the Adirondack High Peaks! EBFA shares Marcy Field with a fabulous Farmers Market for this annual Fathers Day family event. Refreshments and kites for sale. 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Admission is free.
